Meritec is the electronic interconnection division of Associated Enterprises, providing connectors and cable assemblies to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in a variety of markets in the electronics industry since 1989. Meritec products provide cost-effective solutions to the electronic and mechanical challenges posed by increasing signal frequencies and decreasing package sizes. There is a full Meritec line of standard interconnection products for applications requiring critical control of electrical parameters.

PCI Connectors: Meritec angled PCI connectors meet a variety of specialised PCI connector applications to the PCI local bus standards. Connectors are available in 25° and 90° angles for the 5V and 3.3V, 32 and 64 bit applications. Meritec's industry leading insert-molding capability can support cost effective, high volume requirements. ZIF PCI Test connectors are also available.

Flat Flex Interconnects: Meritec Flat Flex Cable Assemblies are ideally suited for board to board and board to LCD interconnect applications. Meritec provides the lowest profile in the industry and the over-molded strain relief ensures long-term reliability. Meritec Flat Flex Assemblies are compatible with Hirose DF9 and Harwin M40 connectors.

SMT Sockets for Flash ICs: Meritec surface mount zero insertion force TSOP sockets provide an ideal interconnect for your Flash TSOP development and production requirements. Sockets are available to fit a variety of package sizes from 40 to 56 pin and pitches from 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.27mm.

SCSI Adapters: Meritec offers the widest line of SCSI 1 and 3 adapters in the industry. Both 50 and 68 position adapters are available in angled or straight configurations in a variety of terminations. The adapters are available in customer specific pin out, filtering and terminations.

High Speed Cable Assemblies: Meritec has been providing high performance, fully characterized cable assemblies since its inception. Exclusive features such as welded terminations and integrated molded strain relief provides a superior quality product. Each assembly is engineered to match requirements for low impedance, high speed and low crosstalk.

Custom Connector Solutions: Meritec's engineering expertise and specialisation in insert molding, high performance signal characterization, hermaphroditic contacts and welded terminations as well as standard connector manufacturing techniques provide a library of technologies to draw from, for any custom connector application.
